The Title Of Assassin's Creed: Shadows, Dedicated To Feudal Japan, Has Finally Been Revealed

Previously, the game was known by the codename Assassin's Creed: Codename Red.
The full version of Shadows will be presented on May 15 at 17:00 British time. Concurrently, an extensive preview of the game will be unveiled, set for its inaugural viewing on YouTube.

Ubisoft has not yet announced the exact release date of Shadows, but promises to release the game before the end of the current fiscal year (March 2025). Most likely, the game will go on sale during the traditional autumn sales of the series, in October or November 2024.

Shadows will be the first full-fledged Assassin's Creed game after Valhalla 2020 and Mirage 2021, released in honor of the 15th anniversary of the series. Moreover, Shadows is the first Assassin's Creed game created by the talented Ubisoft Quebec studio after Odyssey 2017, which takes place in Ancient Greece.

The release of the game is also timed to coincide with the launch of Ubisoft's new Assassin's Creed Infinity platform, which will become the center of the development of the modern storyline of the franchise. In 2022, I spoke with Marc-Alexis Cote of Ubisoft Quebec, the current head of the entire Assassin's Creed franchise, to find out more.
