The competitive gaming community is buzzing with energy as excitement builds toward one of the season’s biggest Counter-Strike 2 tournaments. With the game captivating audiences on a scale never seen before, fans and teams alike are eagerly anticipating a new event that promises high stakes and top-tier competition.
Leading the charge, StarLadder will stage a prominent tournament in the heart of Budapest later this year. The rapidly growing Counter-Strike 2 scene is drawing huge audiences and participants, making large-scale events a natural next step for the industry. In addition to events organized by ESL, BLAST, Esports World Cup, and PGL, StarLadder has expanded its schedule with another major tournament slated for 2025. The event is set to follow a three-phase structure starting from November 24 through December 7, and will conclude with a final bracket round scheduled between December 11 and 14.
The tournament’s initial stages will be held at the MTK Sportpark, transitioning later to the MVM Dome for the concluding rounds. A lucrative prize pool of $1.25 million will be available for competitors. Although the total number of teams and participating squads has not yet been announced, tickets are already on sale for spectators, hinting that more detailed information about the team lineup may be shared soon.
